About After Eden

After Eden was built because the existing resources weren't specific enough.

There are wellness apps. There are general intimacy apps. There are books. There are podcasts. None of them quite name what happens in the body and in the nervous system when sexuality is formed inside a high-control religious environment. None of them were built by someone who sees these patients every week.

I'm Hallel Saine. I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and Colorado. I'm EMDR-trained. I'm a doula. I'm completing sex therapy and sex educator certifications through the Sexual Health Alliance. I work with people recovering from religious body shame in my private practice every day.

This is not a side project. It is a direct extension of the framework I have been developing for years with real people, finally in a form that can reach people who aren't in my waiting room.
